I want to go for a no fault divorce

Question:

I want to go for a no fault divorce however I want to have full custody of my son. I don’t mind visitation rights for the father. But I don’t want to have them father involved with renewal of passport, Get NOC for travel etc. Is this possible?

Answer:

Thank you for your comments. Either parent may request to remove the other parent from custody, and the court will uphold the child’s best interest principle. It is advisable to consult a family lawyer in such matters. If you would like to schedule a meeting, please let us know.
